Ellen and Jimmy, the details

And voila’, here it is.  Ellen and Jimmy’s cute lil’ details post, as promised.  This time, it was much easier for me to select the photos I wanted to use from Amelia Moore Photography:  I just chose them all!  So, so, sooooo much easier! Between the window frame used as a menu and the mason jars filled with flowers, this is one Watercolor wedding you gotta see!

I absolutely adore this wedding.  I met this family and they were oooozing with Southern hospitality.  As you may know, the day of a wedding can be very stressful for the bride, wedding party and the family.  This wedding was an exception.  When I first arrived at the house, the bride and bridesmaids were out riding bikes.  When they returned, they were all super sweet and very laid back, just enjoying the day.  Not stressing about this, that, or the other.  Just savoring the moments they had together.  I’ll never forget the scene I witnessed before I left the house (right before the ceremony): the bride and her ‘maids gathered in a circle holding hands and praying.  The bride was smiling ear to ear and rocking back and forth with excitement.  I got a little teary eyed watching this and I probably will never forget that moment.

I am breaking this post up into two features.  Amelia (a crazy, cool, fab Nashville photographer I met there) shot so many great photos that I just couldn’t decide what to post.  The following post is pre-wedding up until the I-Do’s.  The next feature will be the cute lil’ details, and girl let me tell you, there are definitely some cute lil’ details you may need to borrow for your wedding.  Just look at this door at the ceremony site!  Above the door reads the Psalm “I lift my eyes to the hills”.  Gorgeous!!!
